Work with a professionally trained therapist

Competent. Ethical. Professional.

I am a professional member of the British Institute of Hypnotherapy

The British Institute of Hypnotherapy & NLP (BIH) is one of 12 registering organisations belonging to the UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations (UKCHO). The BIH promotes and expects its members to uphold the highest standards of practise and training in order to protect the public and in turn, promote the profession of hypnotherapy in the UK.This means that BIH hypnotherapy practitioners are accountable for the services they offer and deliver to the public. Members agree to uphold the BIH Code of Ethics in their work with the public. Members are also accountable for their professional conduct and are answerable in terms of any complaints made against them, their conduct or quality of services via the BIH Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure. The BIH only accepts hypnotherapists who have trained and qualified with BIH accredited training courses.

The BIH accredited courses have been assessed against the minimum standards agreed by the profession as part of Regulation 2010-2011. The BIH screens members on the standards of their qualifications to practitioner status. All BIH members are insured to work with the public and all must complete the CPD requirement, and declare this, upon renewal of their annual membership.

The BIH is a validating organisation for the CNHC – the Regulator of the hypnotherapy profession in the UK.
