In fact, it’s helpful to not think of hypnosis as a diet at all, it works because it changes your way of thinking about food and eating, and it allows you to learn to be more calm and relaxed in your life. So instead of food and eating being an emotional solution, it becomes an appropriate solution to hunger, and new patterns of behaviour begin to develop thus enabling you to deal with emotions and life.
