Mindfulness May Improve Motivation

According to a study at the Iowa State University Mindfulness Meditation can help people feel more motivated and more inclined to exercise more.  Using techniques such as Self Awareness and being more present in the moment can also help to not only get you up and exercise but to also benefit you more from your chosen exercise.  It showed that those who purely used physical exercise, with the exclusion of being more mindful, were more likely to exercise up to 75 minutes less than those who practiced being more present in their activities and therefore benefited more from exercise.

The lesson here, I believe, is the more present we are, in not only exercise but in all areas of our lives the more we will get out of our life and the more fulfilled we will become.
